New from Wix: Wordtune is now available to use in your website content, blog posts and Wix store


Ever found yourself struggling for the right word or phrase to use in your Wix website content writing or while writing your latest Wix blog post? Well Wordtune is for you.


Wordtune is an AI-powered writing companion that understands what you’re trying to say and suggests ways to make your writing more clear, compelling and authentic.


It can help you perfect the wording and grammar on your site, give you some helpful suggestions when you’re creating a blog, and even help you to write catchy product descriptions for your online store.


Simply select a piece of text and click the Wordtune icon beside it (once you've added the Wordtune app to your site from the Wix App Market) to get suggested ideas and improvements.

It can:

  • Rephrase your writing in countless ways to express exactly what you mean

  • Generate more content, faster by letting Wordtune expand on your ideas

  • Adjust the tone of your text by making it more formal or casual

  • Shorten or lengthen your writing to suit different formats

  • Fix spelling, grammar & fluency errors.

A couple of important things to note about Wordtune :

  • You can use Wordtune to edit text in your site's dashboard, for example your Wix Blog posts or Wix Bookings services. Wordtune does not currently support editing elements in your Editor, e.g. text boxes.

  • This app is only available in English.

  • The free version gives you 20 free rewrites per day, after which you will need to upgrade to their premium package.


Adding the Wordtune app to your site

You can add the Wordtune app to your site in your site's Editor or your site's dashboard.

Note:To use Wordtune for your Wix site, you need to use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

To add in your Editor:


  1. Open the App Market:

  2. Wix Editor: Click the icon on the left side of your Editor.

  3. Editor X: Click the icon on the top bar.

  4. Type "Wordtune" in the search bar and select Wordtune from the drop-down menu.

  5. Click Add to Site.

  6. Click OK.


To add in your dashboard:

  1. Go to the Wix App Market in your site's dashboard.

  2. Type "Wordtune" in the search bar and select Wordtune from the drop-down menu.

  3. Click Add to Site.

  4. Click OK.
